eFutures Rethinking Computing Architectures for Big Data and AI

Wednesday 23rd October 2019
10.30 - 17:00

The MAC Metropolitan Arts Centre
10 Exchange St, West, Belfast BT1 2NJ

There has been an explosion in the production of often complex and noisy unstructured data. Moreover, the growth in data centres and the need for increasingly complex embedded systems is creating major energy challenges. For these reasons, there has been an increased interest in biologically inspired approaches and an emergence of new forms of computing architectures.

The aim of this event is to bring together stakeholders from companies, research establishments and academia (particularly Early Career Researchers), to discuss possible new forms of computing architectures to address these challenges and to allow new thinking to emerge.
