Data Protection Statement
Newcastle University (as Data Controller) is collecting your personal data as you have explicitly
requested information about our Public Lectures. We will only contact you to provide you with
information about the University’s Public Lectures.
You have provided your consent for the University to process your personal data for the purposes
detailed above. You have the right to request that the University deletes this personal data at any
time, noting if you do so, the University will be unable to provide you with information relating to its
Public Lectures. You can request to be removed from the Public Lectures mailing list by sending your
request to apl@newcastle.ac.uk. On an annual basis we will ask you to confirm that you wish to
continue to receive this information: if you don’t or you do not respond, we will delete your personal
details within one calendar month.
We won’t share your personal data with anyone outside the University, unless required to by law,
and it will be stored securely within the EEA.
