Global Challenges Summit 2018 - Working Together for International Development
Hosted by Newcastle University, Northumbria University and Durham University

Newcastle University, Northumbria University and Durham University are coming together to explore opportunities for collaboration in International Development and global challenges research and impact in the North East and beyond. The event will feature sessions involving representatives from a variety of relevant sectors including universities, NGOs and social enterprise and is open to academics, research partners, practitioners and students. Delegates will have the opportunity to share their ideas and achievements through the poster competition and via the quick-fire Pecha Kucha networking session. They will hear from inspiring individuals working in Global Challenges, will be able to reflect on their own practice and research and will discuss solutions to the challenges of making research work for international development in our mini CoLaboratories session. Further, delegates will have the chance to shape potential future joint activity in this area in the North East.
